The New Strokes Album?

personally, I don't like it very much. I'm kind of dissapointed by them. sad.gif

    I kind of like what I've heard... I've listened to some leaks from the album a longggg time ago... so ya its ok. But I wasn't a die-hard fan or anything from before so my judgement is different from fans who have like them before me.

    I loved their first two albums, but this one is pretty crappy. I don't know, its like they are trying to totally change their sound, but it just doesn't work for them.

    I like the tracks "You only live once" and "on the other side" on that new album... they grow on you.

    That's sad. Because I really like them, and you should too. Go to bumrock.com, and watch their video of Someday. It's funny, and you can decide if you like them. It's a great site, too.

    I haven't heard anything off the new album yet besides Juicebox. I'll probably pick it up anyway. I did the same with Killer Queen; it had bad reviews, but I bought it just because Rooney and Jason Mraz were on there. What do think about the video for Juicebox?

    Tackiest/crapiest vid everr... Even though David Cross is in it... it doesn't help... Most of the video creeped me out.

    I watched it just to see Julian. I thought it was pure grossness. David Cross helped a little by calling them the Stroke and the song Juicy Juice, but it was still nasty.

    i like the one new song ive heard...proballypick up there album at sum point as there funky..

    Muh. All their songs are the same. I can handle one jutted between a bunch of other ones. But listening to their whole album, beginnig to end is not good.

    I think last night sounds like someday, but other than that...I think they're all really good songs.

    eh i've strayed away from the video for juicebox because that song is aweful.

    My favorite strokes song would have to be "the end has no end"

    That vid makes me dislike the song... witch i thought was ok before I saw the vid.
