Supergrass + The Dead 60s
I went to the Supergrass show on Jan 23. They are one of the greatest band, you know. I should be glad to see them play at such a small venue. *sarcastic smile* They were absolutely wonderful as usual. The combination of Gaz, Danny, Mick and Rob seemed to be perfect. They have five masterpiece albums, it might be hard for them to choose songs to play. In fact I couldn't hear some of my favorites but it was okay because they played old ones with different arrangement. Those songs were given new spirit, it was so brilliant. Supergrass rule!!!
The opening band was The Dead 60s, I like them too. "Riot Radio" was a small hit in the US, wasn't it? They were much more better than last time I saw them. I had a blast actually. Their musical skill was incredible, the singer were so steady, all the instruments got together very well. Aggressive dub sound and rebellious lyrics kicked my ass.
