You go Connyfoo! This thread will never die. It mustn't. Nordstrom and Ok Go...come on just the thought of shopping and those boys makes the best of happy thoughts.
OK Go "A Million Ways" was number 4 on the F/List "Dance Dance Dance". I had just put the channel on and was making a sandwitch when the cute host said OK Go and I flipped!!! Then he said they had great dance moves and that could be the next macerana (sp).

Yeah, I saw that show a few months ago- except I tuned in at number 3. So I sat there for the whole show, wondering if maybe OK Go had been number 4 or 5, and then I found out two days later that they had, and I was mad at the TV.
Nice save, it really did almost die. Is your name really Conny, or is it just a slur against Asians?
I'm not sure how it's a slur. I'm asian myself and I don't see a problem with it. If I missed the humor, sorry, because I feel like a humor-less ass today.
So yesterday, I was in Bath and Body Works with my mom and my brother, and they were playing Duncan Sheik's "Barely Breathing," which made me think, "Ha, I just read an interview with Damian and Tim where they mentioned this guy, that's amusing..."
And then the song ended, and I couldn't hear the next song, because a few people around me were talking and making noise, but my brother stops and says, "They're playing OK Go!"
So I stopped and strained to listen, and they were playing "1,000 Miles Per Hour"!
And then my mom was like, "Your brother figured that out before you did, why didn't you know that already, WHAT KIND OF FANGIRL ARE YOU???"
Anywho. It was nifty. I floated about the store singing along.
I freaked out my roomate today. I was listening to this local radio guy. As he comes back from commercials, a little bit of some song usually plays in the background. Today, "A Million Ways" was the song that was playing as he came back from commercial. And I started cheering and jumping up and down. My roomate did not like that one bit. She thought I had seen a spider or something and was needing assistance. She wants me never to scream and jump up and down for no apparant reason ever again or she'll kick me.

Or maybe a roach?
Oh, I was listening to a Yanks game on the radio coming back from MA last month, and I SWEAR I heard them play the intro to "Get Over It" in the stadium. But I could totally be lying about that.

They play it a bunch at hockey games in Ottawa, too. I looovvvee that music guy.
*revives this as the "hearing OK Go in random places thread"*
So this is the second time I've been in a Gap in Paris and OK Go has come on. The first time I was in the Gap on the Champs-Elysees a few days before Christmas, and "HIGA" came on.
Today, I was in the much smaller Gap on Boulevard St. Michel, and as whatever song was playing started ending, they did a crossfade, and I recognised the first few seconds of the song. And I said to myself, "There's no way they're playing the Zombies in here!", because that in itself seemed impossible. I didn't even consider that it could be OK Go, 'cause that would be even more impossible.
And then the crossfade ended and they were, in fact, playing OK Go's version of "This Will Be Our Year."
I converted atleast three of my friends into the OK Go fandom so far. They were doing review for a chemistry midterm, yesterday in class...(Why didn't I take chem this year?!? And why are they in the same class? No fair.) They got bored and just starting doing AMW at the back of the room, or so they tell me. I was like "NO WAY. You're shitting me. I can't believe you were actually paying attention to me at lunch, LOL." They said they got in trouble from the teacher and one of the goody-two-shoes students. ("Um, can I help you?") Better yet, the teacher's reaction was something like "LADIES, STOP BREAKING IT DOWN AND BE SEATED!"
My sister says she's walked into AE before and HIGA started playing JUST as she walked in. She ran home to tell me about it and it totally made my day

We'll keep the love alive.
Bowling + OK Go= One great Friday night.
That is soooo cool!!!! Why didn't they do that when I went bowling for the first time. Ok Go music prevents gutterballs
I got like four strikes, so they must be good luck especially when bowling.

DAMIAN'S NEW-BORN ARACHNID KIDS?!??!!?
*ahem* Sorry. I couldn't resist.
Nordstrom's is a store. Kinda' like Bloomingdale's, I think. If you read the first post, it explains the title...
