What is your favorite okgo album?: Oh No, I've not stopped playing it since August
What is your favorite okgo lyric?: either; mediocre people do exceptional things all the time, or you cannot fight the television. Oh and 'to hell with valentines, to hell with perfume, to hell with chocolates and picnics and sinatra tunes' haha. That so describes my relationship right now.

How did you get into okgo?: wish I could remember.... I saw their album advertised on TV like 3 years ago and I recognised the songs and I was confused, so I went and bought it!! And um, thats the end of that!
What is a good memory concerning okgo?: I have many.... the best are either partying with Ok Go or last Thursday when Dan asked to kiss me hahaha

via madden and my album buying, and the fact that they just plain rock...i also got into hot action cop at the same time as ok go, and thus head full of crazy was born

giving the guys ties at the last gig, dan droping his tie then coming back and hugging me saying he would never mean to drop it ever..and he gave me a big dan hug

OK Go. I like them both, but there's something that always draws me back to the first album. I feel a deeper connection to those songs, and I feel like I relate to them more.

How many times have you seen okgo live?:
I believe the count is at 14, in 2 different countries and 4 different states (only 3 shows were in my home state of WI). They seem to be really neglecting the Midwest recently, so I travel to get to shows (well, as much as I can on a college student's budget).

Because this is difficult, I'll pick one off each album. Oh No is very easy - "No Sign of Life". This song is kind of the amalgamation of my experiences with OK Go - the good (and the bad). There's no way I could pick one off the first album, maybe "The Fix is In". My other favorite is their cover of "This Will Be Our Year".
Is there a song of okgo's that makes you sad?:
"Return" is the obvious answer here, although I find "Oh Lately It's So Quiet" and "1000 Miles Per Hour" to be a lot more sad.
How did you get into okgo?:
I first actually connected the band with the song when I saw them open for the Donnas. It was Valentine's Day '03, and Damian had us ask Tim to be our valentine. He also threw candy hearts out into the crowd and I caught some down my shirt lol. They put on better show than the Donnas and Rooney combined, so needless to say, we were hooked.
What is a good memory concerning okgo?:

What was their first song you ever heard?:
I heard "Get Over It" and "Your So Damn Hot" back in the old days when the album was just released and my sister was a cool college kid listening to all that kind of music. And then I started to really get into them December of '04.
What is your favorite okgo album?:
I love their first album, I just have so many good memories that go along with it. I love Oh No, and I love how their sound has progressed, but there's something about their first that just keeps me constantly in love. And every song is fantastic on that album.
What is your favorite okgo lyric?:
"Mediocre people do exceptional things all the time" --even now when I hear it I just smile ...it's basically my motto. (and for the record, this was really hard to answer because Damian is just such an amazing lyricist that he constantly leaves me speechless).
How many times have you seen okgo live?:
Five times so far, soon to be six in May and seven if I can manage to get out to NoHo on the 26th.
What is your favorite song by okgo?:
My favorite? Damn, this is hard. I'm doing each album like Pam did because that's just easier. I'm really torn between "The Fix Is In" and "There's A Fire" from the first album. I'm still not completely sure what the former is about, and it took me months to realize what the latter was about, and for that I adore them. As for from Oh No ...I'm gonna have to say "Good Idea At The Time." I'm a huge Sympathy For The Devil fan, and the fact that Damian wrote that in response to the Stones makes me really happy.

How did you get into okgo?:
I was in my friends room last year and she was playing "Your So Damn Hot" and I fell in love. Ran up to my room and downloaded all their other songs. It's pretty simple and straight forward.
What is a good memory concerning okgo?:
Oh there's a lot, but probably either Lollapalooza weekend (cause I'm sappy and love my Division Street Dancers) or when my sister embarrassed me in front of Damian. Yeah, that one definitely is great.
A Million Ways (I'm a rather new fan). No, wait, that's a lie. That was the frist song where I was like "OH, THIS IS OK GO." THe first time I heard OK Go was when my friend redid the lyrics to What to Do for my 16th birthday. The chorus went something like, "could have been a bitch but you're ever so kind." 'Twas brilliant and still hanging on my wall somewhere. I can't listen to What to Do without laughing now.

OK Go. I can't get over how awesome it is, especially the transition form the rockin' opening to the quiet songs like Return then back to C-C-C-Cinnamon Lips and Bye Bye Baby.

How many times have you seen okgo live?:
Twice. The first was at Irving Plaza front and center by myself ('twas a Wednesday.. I think?.. and my friends were all "HURR SCHOOLWORK HURR"). The second time was at Toad's on the stage dancing along with a group of friends and a trip there where we fit 10 people into 7 person car (we're rebels, I know). Both times were equally entertaining.

Bye Bye Baby (close second: Don't Ask Me). I can't get over how beautifully it flows yet how powerful the vocals and instrumentals are.

How did you get into okgo?:
My indie friend was very "LISTEN. THEY'RE GOOD" about 2 years ago. I kinda glossed them over (quelle horreur, I know) due to a rather unfortunate Blink-182 period. I saw the A Million Ways dance video and remembered watching the Ping POng Instructional Video. The connection clicked and I started listening to them. It's been pure infatuation ever since (my friend still makes fun of me for not noticing them the first time she showed me).
What is a good memory concerning okgo?:
The most recent was blasting Do What You Want as my friends and I painted our set for a play. We just put it on, opened the doors, and danced like complete and total maniacs as the people outside stared. 'Twas full frivolity and chaos and I don't regret shakin' my boot-ay at all. OK Go just brings out the dance fiend in me.

How did you get into okgo?:
I remember hearing the first few singles from OK Go but I never bothered to learn more about them until I was really stoned at like three in the morning and they showed the A Million Ways video on The Wedge. Then later that week, I was in Toronto and found the first album and listened to it the whole way home.
What is a good memory concerning okgo?:
Tim saying I was incredible for asking about his cover of Hot In Here and Damian and I discussing how much we smelled after the show. It was also pretty grand when Damian laughed at me and said, "I love you too!" from the stage.

What is a good memory concerning okgo?: summers sitting on the swings alone in the bright sun with my cd player in my mini back back turned up as loud as it can go, swinging as high as i could. then jade comes and i share the music, we each take an ear bud thing. this is last summer, every summer. thats the best memory i have in my life.
