Guess who's going to see Arctic Monkeys and We Are Scientists on June 15th at the Avalon in Boston?! And guess who's uber excited. Yeah, that's right ...ME!

Anyone else going? Cause that would be super!

    Yes! But I'm not sure for how long. They end up being $25 exact, but it's totally worth it.

    Annnnnd, OK Go is at the Lansdowne Street Music Festival thing on May 18th along with The Charlatans, The Academy Is and lots of other goodies.

    Life is so good right now.

    Well, there are a lot of Montrealers I abosutely adore, but you can tell that this is just one of those "buzz band" shows where like 97% of the crowd has never even heard their music, but it's the cool show that all of the scene kids will be talking about the next day.

    Haha, maybe I'm just bias because I got a black eye from a Montrealer a few weeks ago at a show...

    I was at Babylon in Ottawa jut seeing a few local bands and my friend and I were sort of standing at the edge of the mosh pit, behind a bunch of guys from Montreal who came down to see their friend's band. At some point, this really fragile-looking indie kid, couldn't have been more than fourteen, got a beer bottle smashed over his head by some asshole and he got shoved over toward us.

    So, I kind of panicked and started acting like his mom, leaning over and trying to ask if he was okay. Apparently, les French Canadiens did not appreciate me brushing against them whilst checking up on the guy, so one of them snapped at me in French and elbowed me in the face.

    The Cinematics were supporting them. We went for the cinematics. WAS were a very very pleasant headlining act. Tho I don't think I can take your comments seriously Mr. David, as you own neither Kings of Leon OR Hot Hot Heat music tongue.gif

    I'm driving down to San Diego to see them. (I live in LA, CA) I was so excited to hear about this show... the one closer to me sold out faster though

    I think I'm going to go see WAS on June 30th in NYC, as the June 14th show has sold out...this is assuming it doesn't sell out before I get the dollars to buy tix...

    Also, I just met a Brit. boy who toured with WAS. I don't think he's in a band, so I don't know what he was doing (maybe merch or something?), but he was like, "Yeah, there's this awesome band coming here to Northampton on July 1st, We Are Scientists? You should go see them. I toured with them and they're awesome." ohmy.gif

    (Also, said boy was very cute and we flirted a lot. Unfortunately, he still lives in Oxford. tongue.gif No luck.)

    But wait... when is everyone coming to the UK? Becuase the show(s) are in October.. and how phenomenal would that be if we all went?!
