I can't do what I want, my computer won't let me.

So I just got the three UK DWYW singles in the mail today! Yayness!

And, as y'all probably know, one of said singles has the DWYW vid on it, and it's of a far better quality than the one I have saved on my computer. More yayness!

Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to save the vid to my computer without upgrading to Quicktime Pro, and iTunes won't let me add it to my library. mad.gif

Anybody know how to get around this?

  • I doubt you'll be able to do it, as it will probably be copy protected...

    Windows.

OK. So what you are going to do is.

after inserting the disk if ti auto starts exit out of that. then go to my computers and up top on the folder toolbar there is a button that says folders. Here is a handy picture.

and then you will see the side bar with the folders in it, go to the OK Go disk and open it up, click on the DATA folder and then the QTS folder it will come up with the quicktime video. This you can download into quicktime and then open with iTunes and it will download it and you can put it on your ipod if you wish
  • I hope that helps... anyone and if you have questions or dont understand it just ask...
  • Okay, here's the thing. I can get it to open on iTunes, and if I had an iPod, I could get it to save to it. But I don't. I just want to save the file to my computer. And it doesn't seem to want to do that when I open it in iTunes. tongue.gif
