Happy Birthday, "A Million Ways"

If I'm counting correctly, the legendary "A Million Ways" dance made its debut on 5/25/05 at Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.

So, Happy Birthday, "A Million Ways".

I don't think anyone who saw it in those early performances would have predicted how far that dance would go (Good Morning America, ALL OVER the interweb, now being sold on itunes, Best Week Ever, etc...). Craziness...

I saw it on the 27th of May and ...never in my wildest dreams would I have guessed it would've gotten this big.

And to think...it all started with Damian slipping some 'illegally' burned copies of the dance to certain fans.

Wow, it's really been a year since its unveiling? It kind of feels longer than that and much shorter than that at the same time. Also, woot! that they debuted the dance in NJ!

I have absolutely no clue where mine is at the moment. I was also going to make a comment about being slipped the CD into my lap, but that's way too crude for this board. haha.

In a recent article the Kulash said that they wanted to do the "Million Ways" dance on Jay Leno, but Jay's people said they cannot perform a song that would be lipsinched. The Kulash thought that was "bullshit." He feels Jay doesn't want musical guests doing comedy routines, that only Jay can do the comedy.

Anyway, I think Ok Go should perform on the "Craig Ferguson Show"! Craig is hillarious, and I think he would totally support a musical act doing a song and dance routine.

Yeah, Poison and I discussed this with Tim last year in Kansas City, he was pretty upset about it too. Interestingly, I believe he mentioned some other TV appearances they had in the works that never happened... I wonder what happened with that.

Wow, it's been a year? Time flys. It's kind of funny how their new "secret" video is coming out a little more than a year after AMW, but is really a secret anymore? If you watch and read enough interviews, it's pretty easy to figure out. Plus, I've been dropping hints to you guys this entire month, of course, if you don't know what you're looking for, then how is it a hint? Hmm, I guess I didn't plan this out well enough. Well, I wasn't supposed to tell anyway.

I can't believe it's been a year since this song was released. Thanks to this song, I wouldn't have known about OK Go (I would find out eventually, but not this soon.)
