    Worship at the altar of Brenda Webb.
    And she bought them for me even though she hates those specials (the Rudolph, etc., ones). The first time she told me this I freaked out. Nobody hates those. It was sacrelige. She says the movements of the animals/people are too jerky. She calls them spastic.

    And I had no idea such slippers existed until I opened the present. I spazzed out. They are the best.

    Btw, on this topic, I loved that Trish mentioned the "Rudolph" specials in her podcast. When they're talking about young-Tim's hair, calling it an Ocean Spray wave, and she says it was like the "dentist in those Christmas movies."

    Okay, I officially scorn Brenda for that, but I also had a fit when Trish said that. Even though my hippie friend who doesn't own a TV looked at me like I was a lunatic.

    I actually haven't talked to her since St. Patrick's Day..and then she dropped out of school a couple of weeks later to "homeschool" herself on hippie things like photography and the environment. Word on the street is she just sits in her room and listens to Blind Melon cassettes..

    I remember when I first got my copy, back when I was a regular Jane subscriber. I was flipping through the issue, and I came to that article, and I looked at the pic and was like, "Wow, that guy looks really familiar, who the heck...omg...is that...*looks at caption* OMGTHATISDAMIANKULASHOMG!" I think I almost screamed to, hahahahaha. And then I logged onto the boards and everyone was like, "Umm....that's a really weird picture......"

    You could always scare her to death by buying an ionic hairdryer (they produce ozone and kill the ozone layer) AND a fut coat and then donate it to her. Hee hee, this is fun. Hippies are silly. laugh.gif
