    Yeah, in Australia we're getting recycled drinking water.

    Because we have no other water.

    So now John Howard doesn't just talk shit, he wants us to drink it too.

    California has been drinking reclaimed water for decades. The major source for Orange County is water from the Santa Ana River, which is basically Riverside County's treated waste water discharge. So all those rich OC folks are drinking our "poo" water. But OC pumps the reclaimed water into the ground to recharge their groundwater basins. They basically re-clean the treated waste water naturally while it percolates into the ground and then pump it back up.

    But tap water is definately higher in standards than bottled water due to their frequent testings.

    I drink tap water, it's much more cost effective.
