unfortunately, I have no Ok Go-ness in my room at all. I don't even have an Ok Go shirt (I like to get my band tees at actual concerts, and I haven't been to an Ok Go concert yet because of 18+ocity.).
I also have not had the time or effort to buy anything online yet, although I keep meaning to.
so the only Ok Go-ness in my room is a scrap of paisley brown fabric that I found in a cupboard w/ other fabric samples at the library. (odd, I know) I took it cause it reminded me lots of Ok Go. but its just sitting on my extra bed.
oh well. it'll happen eventually. i hope.

I'm sad but excited that I can't access the store right now. That means new stuff is being added, but it also means I can't replenish my now-bleached OK Go shirts. fooey.

Amen. I have a few pictures of boys from bands up in my cube. I've tried to be strategic and put them in the corner where I can see them easily, but out of the line of sight of casual passersby.
Last week someone pointed to a pic of Damian & Andy from Lolla last year (they both look very cherubic) and asked if Andy was my brother.

I thought the Andy thing was funny, but off the wall, since I don't think I look anything like him. Someone else once swore that Damian and Andy had to be brothers. She refused to believe me when I said no, then said, "well, somebody's Daddy was messing around..."
I don't really mind when people see my band pictures, but I'd just prefer to not suggest to my bosses that I might not be as focused on work-related things as I should be.
Seriously, it sounds really nice.

It's only like, 10 shirts. Each shirt is like, 10 bucks(maybe 15? It's 10 at the shows). So it's only 100 or so plus shipping.
Nothing way expensive.
That's less than what I'd normally buy for clothing anyway. And I haven't bought any clothes in a long time, so I'm quite overdue. I wear the same stuff day after day, so it's all worn out and bleached. which is weird, cause I don't think we have any bleach right now.
haha, yeah. I'm hopeful about next year, as they usually go to Northhampton and I might convince my dad to take me on a tour of the colleges out there whenever they stop by. but, if the next Ok Go show in Boston is all ages, then there's no way I'm missing it. And my parents know that already. so yeah.
and the only thing about Ok Go-izing my room is that it's already completely Interpol-ized. so I'd have, like, an Interpol color scheme (red curtains, black curtain rods, light gray walls, white bordering) with Ok Go (many mulit-colored) accessories. it'd be odd, but why not?

well, if I really wanted to be eclectic then I'd have to involve Tally Hall somehow (you know, w/ the tie-colors and all).
what I don't get on those shows is they always insist that it should have something to "tie it all together" and I'm like, "ECLECTIC! that means it doesn't have a central theme! duh!"
maybe that's only the shows my mom watches. I dunno.

Yes, definitely involve Tally Hall too. We can make a wall for them, one for OK Go, one for Interpol, and one for...something else. It'll be awesome!
haha, yeah, I really think the people on those shows don't know the meaning of the word eclectic. I always end up yelling at the screen, they anger me with their "knowledge," or rather, lack thereof.
