go to videos, and then there's Damian presenting the Internation Woodie (MTVu?) to people. With some Turkish student. They show the nominees... but no winner... huh.
Oh, and they have lots of videos. Except AMW. And Get Over it. They talk all about the smaller vids.
The videos remind me of the Brady Bunch. They always look at Damian. And look away. And look again. etc.
And to quote Damian: regarding HIGA: "It's about waking up after a one night stand, being really hungover, and realize maybe you're falling in love with someone. It's like a very.. vertiginous (big word?) feeling like you're gonna fall off a building and like, 'maybe it'll be fun!' And it did actually happen to me, and then I'm married now."
YES! It was incredibly exciting. Thanks so much for posting this...it definitely made my day. (Well this and the peppermint milkshake I had for lunch
Hahaha I know. It's hilarious to watch them together. I mean, just watching Damian and Tim together is pretty funny, but when you throw in Dan and Andy it's GREAT!
They put OK Go in the little square advertising the Top 20 again, too. Neato.

About the time we started this record, I broke up with my girlfriend of many years. Pretty soon thereafter, just as I was graduating from the tingly kind of sadness that lives in your nerve endings to the more introspective, buckle-down-and-figure-out-who-you-really-are brand of glum, I agreed to meet and commiserate with a college roommate of mine at a tiny dive bar in my Chicago neighborhood. Quite unexpectedly, and a little unwelcome at first, a bunch of other college friends happened to show up there acting considerably less dour than we, and before long, we were all wasted and back at my apartment.
I hooked up with an old acquaintance that night, and in the morning was stunned to find that I was already falling head over heels for her. In the blur of my hangover, where I expected to find a hollow, guilty self-loathing, there was this giddy bliss. This song was written about the moment just after she left my apartment. It's me in the vertigo of a surprise obsession, laughing at the ceiling and shaking my head at myself for being so easily blind-sided.

aw, that's insanely sweet.
he isn't the only one who speaks in the vh1 interview. the others speak but the firts one is only clips of a longer interview. although, yeah, he is the one who usually talks.

1) I like how she has a last name but he's just "Damian," like Madonna, Prince, or ... Borat
2) He looks soo tall walking out there

That Damian certainly is loquacious...and just a bit camp! But it's all good.

keep watching the 'stars collide video thing... its near the middle of it. Is it the same? It seems different than that ^^ video... and on an mtv camera. So re-enactment? Huh...
And, another vid of OK Go talking about HIGA... watch the Big Ten thing, and after the video is a video of them talking. By them = Damian + a little Tim + Rusty and Dan laughing.
