Thriller!

edited November -1 in General Discussion
Besides the beloved and wicked radical OK GO, what music videos have touched heart and mind...and ear cavities. Personally "Thriller" I think is pretty sweet. "Beat it"? "Vogue"? Anything with crazy synchronized dance routines? Yes. I approve.

  • I think Super Rad by the Aquabats is an amazing video as well as the Red Hot CHilli Peppers Dani California...that one just blows my mind.
  • Basically anything Spike Jonze has touched.
  • Most of Beck's stuff is awesome. His most recent remix video was kind of boring though.

The White Stripes has some crazy stuff too. The lego video they did was amazing.

Herbie Hancock's "Rockit" video will always have a place in my heart; I mean, how can you resist dancing mechanical mannequin legs?! Totally awesome.
  • "Don't Come Around Here No More"--Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers

It's the Alice in Wonderland one. Classic. Classic, I say!
  • if we're gonna discuss videos w/ dancing, then we can't leave out Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice" (w/ Christopher Walken) or "Praise You" (w/ the really awful community dance group, in the mall.)
  • well, awful in terms of way-not-actually-a-good-dance, as well as awfully funny. =) I love the video, its genius, but the dancing itself could be called sub-par. tongue.gif

Speaking of Alice in Wonderland, which I've been researching ALL night to no avail...
What supporting characters do you think relate most to Mr. Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Pete, Tuckey and Wookie? I was thinking those card soldiers for Pete and Tuckey, but I've no idea for JJust and Wookie..

Someone with knowledge of the Disney movie assist me!!
  • Excuse me? Around the World by Daft Punk wins at life.
  • I'm a huge fan of Feeder's Just A Day, it has a special place in my heart biggrin.gif Along with Save Us (also Feeder) and L. Wells by Franz Ferdinand.
