Lagging?

I wasn't exactly sure if this was the right area to post a topic such as this, butttt:

This forum is lagging. Like, it takes well over thirty seconds for a single page to load, which is strange, since every other website I go to in the same browser (Mozilla Firefox tabs <3), the page shows up in, at the most, five seconds. Is anyone else having this problem or am I just an idiot?

    it's lagging for me too, not sure why. maybe it can't handle the five extra people, lol.

    Seeing as to how it took me 2 minutes to post this...


    Yes, I'd say there's a lag.


    I just hope the server's stress limits aren't being tested. Cause then the board might be down shortly after.

    It takes about 4 minutes for this forum to load. I thought it was just me.

    its due to the huge amount of trafic this site and the main site have been getting due to the vma's

    Ah! Glad to know it's not just me, then. It would be a terrible thing for this board to go down, though. Well.. maybe not, I'd get some homework done.

    I find when it's lagging it's a good way to get a few votes in over at VH1 in another window, each time you're waiting for a page to load. smile.gif
