  • oo..... *wince*

I don't know enough about AIM to be able to help. it does sound like a hacker or something, but I have no clue how to fix it.

do you have virus and spyware scanning stuff? I'd run any and all security type stuff just to make sure nothing is infectin gyou rcomputer, I think.

and after that deleting AIM and re-downloading it, maybe using a different sn.

but I don't know if any of that would help, I'm just guessing in the dark. I'd want someone else to give advice before I did anyhting other than that.
  • Wait.

DID you give them your password?
  • Yes >< I felt like a total idiot afterwards.
  • Do you use the same password for anything else?
  • Yes, I use the same thing for my emails, MySpace, LiveJournal, but not when it involves credit cards & money-related areas.

    Change your passwords.
  • can you change your password for myspace and livejournal (and your emails?)

cause I know you can for AIM.

I'm just brainstorming here, but if they really do mean to hack into stuff using it then it would be a good thing to change it, methinks.

I dunno, listen to what Kay has to say. she probably has better advice anyways. =)
  • Who's Kay again? Haha, sorry :/
  • Haha, that's me, but I didn't really offer anything helpful, I think she meant what God was saying.
  • =P it's mixtape. (Kay = Kayliegh?)

don't worry about names yet, haha. its your first day here, so no worries. hakuna matata.

edit: oh, and I hadn't seen what God wrote, I was expecting you to reply seeing as you had asked a question, haha. like I said, no worries. I think we covered it all.

Kayleigh, yeah. Haha, I don't really have anything useful to say, I guess..just check if you can change your passwords and run a bunch of virus checks. Oh, and cross your fingers.
  • VIRUS CHECKS LIKE CRAZY! Seriously, you need to do that immediately with every kind of virus protection software you have, also report this to AOL, and change all your passwords. As everyone has been saying. Do all this ASAP
  • Thank you to all you guys for the help!
  • wow, yeah. i'd agree with everyone and change all your other passwords.
