The Visions of Your Future

Aight. So here a'go's my second posting.

What's your dream career? And if you already have one, what would you rather be doing? And if you already have your dream career, is there anything else you'd like to do?

I've got Broadway, Director, and Nascar. A little bit out there but all three things I love to do and am good at.

    my current career of being a till boy (allbeit the best darn till be ever, its offical!)

    i would rather be out there being a rather amazing photographer (which is true..but not offical yet)

    I WOULD LOVE TO BE A PHOTOGRAPHER
    But I'm too critical of my own stuff. Nor do I have a good-enough camera.

    I want to live in Seattle & own a record store OR work in the record business on a label (preferably some small work-from-a-house one, because that would be fun)

    i would love love love to be a filmmaker, an indie film maker so i can make my movies as weird as i want and say fuck as many times as i want.
    it's going to be amazing. i'm going to be at Cannes and Berlinale and Toronto, Tribeca, NYFF, it's going to be great. and Sundance if i care enough to go, lol.

    Darbs do you think our dreams become more and more realistic as we get older?

    Cos our plans are pretty easy to acheive I would think haha.

    Yes! I'd love to do that too. Plus Indie films are so much more artistic and in my mind are "real film" compared to all that crap out right now.

    haha... possibly... only i don't actually want to be a land surveyor... i typed landy at first... maybe i'll be a pandy surveyor... i don't know what that means... i should stop typing now...

    I really want to be a writer.. like, an author.

    My Creative Writing teacher said I was good enough... and I really do like writing.

    umm... I'd also like to be a geologist, preferably a vulcanologist... I love rocks, and I love volcanoes even more.

    I hate rocks, which isn't easy/fun when the lecturer who is my personal guide for my dissertation is a geologist. I've made it no secret to him how much i hate rocks. I don't think he's impressed.

    I do however have a rock. Its some volcanic crap. I dunno. I picked it up in Wales. Its green and blue and purple!

    ooo... sounds fun. I love volcanoes.

    but, yeah, I have many rocks. I also have many not-so-valuable gemstones. those are prettier than my rocks, but I love both collections.

    I have to say...that made me think of Grand Theft Auto.

    Airbrush artist, Web Designer, Interior Designer, Cake baker/decorator, Musician/Involved in the Music Biz, Movie Star, Photographer/Film Maker, Cartoonist

    Right now, since I work at an airbrush stand and work with world famous artists, my chances of becoming a halfway decent airbrusher are greatly improved and possibly likely.

    And since I'm majoring in Music Business, I'm sure I'll be getting a job relating to the music industry.

    And my minor is Web design, so I'll also most likely be making professional websites too. Because the websites I make now just aren't good enough.

    My artwork isn't up to par to be a decent cartoonist, so that's unlikely.
    And my hands are not steady enough for cake decoration, even though I make some pretty good desserts.
    Interior design involves a lot of math, which I suck at, so uh...no.
    I guess since I do a lot of photography now, that's good enough to check off the list.
    And since I'm not exactly good looking, my chances of being a movie star are shot to hell. (Although...Steve Buscemi is famous and he isn't hot..hmm...).

    My friend definitely hung out with Steve Buscemi when he was down here in new orleans last year. There are photos, and no he isn't good looking so go for it because you are!

    I want to be a music photographer. Though i'm a history major right now and will end up working in a museum basement cataloguing stuff or something (which I probably would like cause I'm a nerd).
