apprently it was his dieing wish to show his death on tv joy..
Yeah, he said if he ever got in trouble (like, attacked by a croc) to keep filming, and that if he needed help he'd ask for it. He wanted it to be captured on film.
Don't know if he said he wanted it shown on TV, though. That'll be left up to his wife.
He's from my State (in fact his Zoo is in the same tiny country town my family comes from) and the Premier has offered to hold a State funeral for him. I'm hoping they'll have some sort of memorial fo rhim, in which case I'm def. going
I'm hoping that, though awful, his death might prompt people to put money toward animal conservation, something Irwin was obviously for. I'd like to think he'd want that and if it's something the world needs, it's more nature conservation.
RIP THE LEGEND THAT WAS MR IRWIN. I WILL MISS U ON SUNDAY MORINGS WHEN I HAVE A HANGOVER AND TURN ON THE TV AND UR THERE ON SUTRALLIAN ZOON MAKING MY HEAD ACHE SEEM LESS PAINFUL, THANKS FOR THE GOOD TIMES STEVE.
now its not like the wwe would ever mock a dead man (sarcasum x's 1,000)
"WWE Chairman Vince McMahon issued an apology for a remark Matt Striker made regarding Steve Irwin's death on Tuesday's ECW.
"We at WWE apologize for the remark alluding to the death of Steve Irwin which was made on ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday night. The remark was, in the least, disrespectful to Mr. Irwin's fans and family," McMahon said on WWE.com Thursday.
During a promo in which he distanced himself from "dumb jocks," Striker said that fans would never catch him swimming with stingrays, referencing a stingray's role in Irwin's death. "
Swimming with stingrays is really no big deal, I've done it a tonne of times and never been killed and so have millions of other people. Steve was just really, really, really unlucky.

The irony being that it's called "Ocean's Deadliest Creaturs" or words to that effect.
