TOTAL CHROOVINESS OF OK GO
Ok basically this post is written directly to Ok Go.
My friends and I have basically been your ripest fans since pretty much the dawn of time...its true its true.
We wanted to express our mad bush LOVE for your band....when we first saw your A Million Ways video we immediately said this is the sickest band ever. Our second thought was we need to immediately learn this dance like stat, so that is what we did and we have since performed it for our friends.
And then after like years of being addicted to your sound, total awesomeness, coolest outfits, and your perfectly chiseled features, you hit us with the treadmills. Now our first thought with this one was "where can we get eight freakin' treadmills". We perfected your a million ways dance and are planning to perform it at an upcoming Sweet Sixteen.
We recently attended the VMA's...for the sole purpose of seeing you guys perform LIVE...ON TREADMILLS. (because thats how you roll chyeeeaaahhh!) It was amazing OF COURSE, I mean you guys would never have it any other way haa. It left us speechless literally. The three of us searched Radio City Music Hall to try and meet and chill out with you, until we were eventually escorted out in the wee hours of the morning (ok well maybe it wasn't that extreme!) I don't know if you guys heard those three girls cheering from the first tier after your performance. We also gave you the ROCK ON and we believe that you saw us and Damian gave us the symbol right back. THAT made our........life!
Your sound is so original, refreshing and just plain AWESOME! We hope that we one day do get to see you guys and hang out or something. When you come to NY we will be at every concert!

Do you guys remember the plan I had to quiz people who said they were "THE BIGGEST FANS OF OK GO?" Right now, I am tempted to expose the above imposters.
Am I the only one wondering why "ripest fans since pretty much the dawn of time" waited until NOW to join the boards? I mean, if they were what they say they are, they would have joined before Darbs and Jen.

let them think they are the biggest fans of all time. i'm sure every single one of us at one time or another has thought the same thing of ourselves only to realize there will always be someone more obsessive or who's been a fan longer or who is more dedicated, etc.
we shouldnt judge the fandom of those new to ok go. back in the day, i woulda felt the same way, like 'how dare they say that when they just found out about them yesterday and i've been a fan for how long now?!?' but i dont think you can really judge a person's fandom in any way possible because even hardcore fans have to start somewhere, right?
...but personally, i've always hated the phrase 'biggest fan', because again, i dont think there is any possible way to judge who the biggest fan could ever be. i mean, i consider myself a huge fan (with plenty of merch and pics to back me up
i know you just wanna quiz these girls to give them some perspective that they cant just assume that they are ok go's #1 fans, but i say just welcome them and share in their giddyness of discovering the band

we got tickets from some head of Verizon
they were AMAZING seats we meet russell simmons (eww) and jessica simpsons dad (eww) tommy hilfiger constintien or w/e form some stupid show and some other people
