I believe I'll be skipping the show, as lots of young kids always get in (whether its 18+ or not) and then they mosh and crowd surf and ruin the show.

That's why I avoid shows at Irving Plaza if I at all can.
  • See y'all at Starland Ballroom on the 17th!
  • In case anyone is planning on attending the Ann Arbor show on Oct. 7, it starts at 2:30 PM.

11/21 - Charlotte, NC Amos Southend
11/26 - Milwaukee, WI Eagles Ballroom

I was going to say, "Hmm, looks like enough time to schedule a trip to the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC on the 22nd."

YET AGAIN YOU RUIN MY PLANS, THANKSGIVING! *SHAKES FIST ANGRILY* I'LL GET YOU YET!

OK Go has formally been invited to my father's house in Eastern NC (like an hour's drive north from Charlotte I swear) for Thanksgiving. He's a REALLY good cook, so... just an idea. tongue.gif
  • Anyone want to move that San Francisco date to a Friday? tongue.gif
  • aslkdjkseljhjkhsfdfjkahfjh!

    Ok Go November 16

    Tally Hall November 18

two of my favoritest bands within two days of each other (and at venues next to each other, avalon & axis)

I'm in heaven right now. seriously.

if only I had the tickets in my hand now. sadly, neither of these shows has ticket info up yet. grr...

Scamper might be opening for the Nov 16th show, which makes me infinitely sad, but which is awesome for you, 'cause they're really cool guys.

Also, Tally Hall = totally playing in NoHo in November. Once again, not there and am sad. *pout* Why are all the good concerts going through MA this fall???
  • well, nevermind about the Ok Go part.

the Nov. 16 show is for The Phoenix's 40th anniversary party, hosted by WFNX. its 21+ and the only way to get tickets is to either sign up for an online newsletter for The Phoenix, or win tix from FNX.

which means I doubly can't go.

which means the fourth show in Boston in 13 months that I can't go to.

do you think I should try and complain to someone? cause I really don't want to wait until I'm 18 to see Ok Go.
  • why couldnt they have the Nov. 30 show here in NYC that would have been the ultimate Birthday Present . I'm gonna see if i can try and convince my mum to get me those tickets for my birthday present

If you're planning for the NYC show on 14 November (or whenever it is, I'm too lazy to go look), it's sold out. :\
  • Gah, all these sold out shows! It's really starting to scare me.

Don't be silly. Calm down. Not like they're playing any small shows in FL anyway.

Besides, I think the Troub and the NYC shows are the only ones that are sold out.

Still, you never know until they come here.

Yeah, it sold out in about a week, I've heard. A lot of people were upset about it.

This is the only listing I found on Craiglist so far:
    http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/tix/227102175.html

There's also a bunch listed on Ebay, but they're all pretty expensive: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?f...go+irving+plaza

Do you live in/near the city?
