Serious Business Records CMJ Showcase

Hey OK Go Fans,

Just stopping in to give you guys some information about Brooklyn based label Serious Business Records.
Rusty Ross(aka a n d y ross, and or a-ross) is the co-founder, and Serious Biz is the home of his Solo project, Secret Dakota Ring.

The Serious Business CMJ Label Showcase is happening on November 1st
at the Knitting Factory, Old Office

The label’s lovely groups will be making sounds and milling about. The lineup includes:
The Two Man Gentlemen Band
DraculaZombieUSA
the Octagon
Kickstart
the Unsacred Hearts
Man In Gray

So there you go. Fair warning. We're in the Music Marathon!

    Also, I met Mary of DZUSA when I saw Scamper at the Knitting Factory this summer. She's pretty darn cool.

    this is yet another reason i wish i lived in/around the ny area sad.gif okay, so all of my "reasons" are really just bands that reside there and tend to only do shows there, but i still think they're pretty valid reasons, haha.

    I also got Andy to sign mine. Then he accidently gave it back to my sister and thanked her for buying it.

    I'd like to go to that too. Some of those bands need to come to the west coast.

    I don't own the SDR cd, yet. I want my parents to buy it for me for christmas or something, but I dunno if they will.

    I have some of the songs, though, just from searching around. I like 'em a lot.

    dunno any of the other bands, but it'd still be cool to go to.

    too bad I don't live in NY.
