What Happened to the OK GO Dance Video Contest?
Did they ever announce the results of the OK Go dance video contest? Damian said they were going to choose the winners by the end of September, but I haven't seen anything on OKGO.net or YouTube about it since the boys recorded their video thank you. There were so many similar submittals that I gave up trying to watch them all, but would love to see just the videos from the winners and runners up. If you know where I can find the results, please post a link. Thanks!

The only thing they have on the dvd is a montage of some of the submissions, unfortunately.
They're probably waiting to announce the winner when they announce some type of event or other contest so they have a big turnout promoting it, is how it usually works in the business. So either they could be doing that, or everyone's just too busy with touring that they forgot about it(for examples, see: Mr. Ross' promise to continue his blogs; Andy and Tim's super secret suprise that was supposed to debut in June; Tim saying he was going to show off certain people's audioblog submissions on the blog, ect).
I wouldn't worry about it though, they'll announce it eventually. After the end of this month, I don't believe they're doing much headlining touring, so it's not like the winners will get to dance AMW on stage until next year, most likely.
I wouldn't expect them to announce it until the end of the tour. I mean, maybe they'll get around to it, but I doubt it.
Also, it would make sense to wait 'til the end of the tour because there's really no way they could pull off getting a bunch of kids to one of the shows in the next few weeks. It's too much too quickly. They'll probably wait to announce it so they can work it out for whatever/whenever their next tour is.
I'm almost positive that they're not doing a headlining tour in spring. Probably main support or something.
At the Sacramento show, when they were playing A Million Ways, they let some girls go on stage and do the dance and then Damian asked them if they had submitted a video to the contest because if they did, they they kind of won the prize already. But I don't think they'll use that as an excuse to not pick a real winner. I remember some girls asking Tim about it, but I only remember him saying that there were a lot of videos and he has to watch them all again because he's starting to forget them.
