And look who is (and isn't) on the list!

Nickelback's Septic Tank. That's even better than anything any of us came up with.

  • Good! I have only heard a part of that song once before and it pretty much sucked.
  • now now, lets not be starting up another hinder fight, we should rise above it

    wink.gif biggrin.gif

I have done nothing but post a link to an article written by someone else. I plead the fifth.
  • You're beautiful was released in 2005....
Me and my friends were singing it in greece LAST december being the rowdy english drunk people... And it'd been out for ages then!
  • indeed jen, it feels like its been out for my entire life...
  • Looking at that list *le gasp* 'SexyBack'? That song makes me laugh so much. And without that, there wouldn't be such awesome versions like the Weebl & Bob one.... I'm bringing pastry back XD
  • ahahahaha. fuck you Hinder! laugh.gif

and that's all I'm going to say about that. because I don't think we need to get into another huge rant about how much Hinder sucks. Though I'm sure we could go on about that for days on end...
  • Oh damnnn, talk about Hinder getting owned. That's pretty hilarious. How are they gonna blame OK Go for this, eh eh eh? smile.gif
  • nice.

that being said, I don't mind The Fray (although the song was way overplayed)

James Blunt's longevity impresses me- I mean, he's getting a whole career out of one song.

and Sexy Back is amazing. I'm sorry, but there's no way to dislike that song, especially not once you've danced to it in the car while driving up the hill to the football field and marching band practice. Its just too much fun.

other than that, I agree completely with that list.

I was afraid Ok Go was on it... then again, the topic would have been a lot more mean/outraged. I'm not thinking right.
  • Woah! I can't believe The Fray was on there! ohmy.gif I don't agree with that. How To Save A Life is an extremely beautiful and genuine song, and yeah it was overplayed, but its actually a good song.

anyway...wow can you imagine how we would all react if OK Go was on that list??? I don't even want to know. That would make me want to throw up even more than this whole Hinder thing does!
  • I'd be so incredibly pissed if HIGA were on that list. But luckily stupid Hinder is, and OK Go is not. I don't think The Fray should be on their either. But, w/e.

Speaking of Hinder though, the other day I was playing a card game with my dad when I realized there was a part of the instructions I didn't understand and that I could have been doing much better had I known that one little detail, so my dad said something along the lines of "Oh, shoot! So you think not knowing that hindered your plays?" and I told him through clenched teeth never to use that word. My mom already knows not to and also why. Now he does as well. Hearing that name/word drives me up the wall!
  • Dude, the word hinder shouldn't be ruined for you just because of some idiots in a bad rock group. Hinder is a sweet word, no matter how much the band sucks....

I like SexyBack and Promiscuous Girl (good dancing/drunk songs), but lord how I HATE "Beautiful." That and the song "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley make me want to slam my head against a wall. I don't understand why critics were so excited by those two---they are so effing annoying and the lyrics aren't even much good.

Apology accepted. smile.gif I nearly disfigured my fingertips, slamming them into the buttons on my radio to change the station everytime a little snippet of that song was played. I guess there is a reason why I haven't listened to the radio since August...

Are you kidding? In my opinion, it's an annoying, high-pitched voice repeating itself over an incredibly boring beat. Their video is interesting, but nothing can make me like that song.

I didn't like SexyBack when I first heard it, but JT has this way of slowly brainwashing me into liking his music when I hear it a lot.

    I say hinder every once in a while, because I'm a word freak . . . but after the sentence, I say, "hehehehe . . . Hinder . . . "

It makes some people mad, so it's funny.

Hinder is from the bottom of Nickelback's 50 year old, dirty, dirty septic tank, though. So is Blue October.
