It's all a complicated running joke. It started during Becky's birthday last year when I made her this:



And then Rach had said "OK, I dare you guys to do that for my birthday, except with a Yankees Symbol. That would be beyond Hilarious."

So, of course, when it was Rach's birthday, I made this:



and this:



And then for Becky's birthday this year, I followed up with this:



Oh, and that's also what I was referencing in Rusty's birthday thread when I did this:



And that is the history of the lollipops.

Also, Newbies, in case you do not know, Andy is a DIEHARD Red Sox fan. Dan once described Andy's hierarchy of needs to me and Alice as "Baseball, Air..." etc. That was, of course, moments after Andy came outside, saw me, and ranked on me about the results of that day's Yankees/Sox game (obviously the Sox had beaten the Yanks that afternoon, but if I'd not been following his ass around for the weekend, I would've known that the Yanks TROUNCED the Sox the night before, what incredibly selective conversation skills you have, ARoss). Also, there was this one time when Becky had told Andy she was a Cubs fan and they were taking photos. Andy suggested they make funny faces, like if the Cubs had just won the World Series. The resulting photo is hysterical. Becky, you should post it again (and correct whatever details I'm sure I got wrong in this story).

Just some backstory to give you all a little more perspective.

I feel like this whole discussion should be in the "Don't Ask Me" thread, though.
