QLD is the abbreviation of Queensland which is a state in Australia. The capital of Queensland is Brisbane and Brisbane is the home of our darling boardie, Jodie. Now, we don't want to go to QLD because not only is it hot but there are many many bogans there and we don't like bogans. That, and New South Wales (or NSW) is the best state in Australia and home to Australia's unofficial capital city, Sydney. We say unofficial because technically the capital of Australia is Canberra which you can find in the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) BUT everyone knows Canberra doesn't deserve official capital status

The Northern Territory is always hot, even in Winter it's like an oven, Queensland is generally warm or at least warmer than NSW... Melbourne is considered cooler but is really about the same as NSW. If you're going to count Tasmania as part of Australia then it would be the coldest. Tasmania often gets left out because it's not connected to the mainland and is therefore full of inbreds. The other states are South Australia and Western Australia, I don't know much about their climate because I've never been to either.
Anyway, if you're confused about something just ask because generally I don't know what you already know and whether you understand or not.

I did a real good description of a bogan somewhere. But basically a bogan is the kind of person who wears flip flops, dirty clothes, sits around drinking beer and watching TV all the time. They can also be found hanging around Centrelink a lot (which is our government welfare system division/department thingy), doing drugs and having really broad accents - using words like "mate" and "sheila". Then there's the girl-version of the bogan which is someone who dresses up in skanky cheap clothes from Supre (a very skanky cheap chain store for clothes aimed at little teenyboppers) and has a lot of 'bling'. They also dye their hair a really fake black or platinum blonde, wear lots of make up and good lord, this is the part I hate most, wear those dumb sparkly trucker hats. Ew.
Melbourne is in the lovely state of Victoria which can be found south of New South Wales. I've heard its awesome and lovely with some of the best shopping to be done there.
