Lost in the mix
I went to the show at Charter One pavillion on Tuesday night (6/12). The boys put on a fine performance, but the show was seriously hampered by a lousy sound mix. The overall sound was wimpy, but the worst part was you couldn't hear the backing vocals!! No "ooh, ooh, ooh", no rolled "B r r r r r uce", nothing. Guitar solos were not accentuated. The band's sound didn't punch like it usually does.
I complained to the sound man about half way through the set, but nothing changed. Big guy with no hair - thanks, dude.
This was definitely an OkGo problem, the opening band Mae (?) sounded fine, as did the headliners, although neither act had the charisma and panache of our favorite four.
