    Aaaaargh, I canceled my AmEx card two months ago!
    And as a former teacher who taught teenage moms, I totally and wholeheartedly agree with this project. My students had to share textbooks and we never had enough of anything. My sister taught in inner city DC and had 30 kids and only 26 desks. How do you decide who sits on the floor?? She used to take food in because her students were hungry. What a pathetic country we live in sometimes...

    And I wonder why I got out of teaching...

    Maybe I'll re-apply for an AmEx just to be able to vote!

    Thanks to Damian for giving attention to such a worthy cause.

    Hey guys, I just heard from an Amex cardmember that Proctor and Gamble won, but that the four runner-up charities are each getting $100,000. So, it's not great, but at least it isn't a complete wash. sad.gif

    Yay, six of the fourteen DonorsChoose projects in the Mr. OK Go Band registry http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/viewReg...egistryId=16982 are 100% funded. And the Indianapolis one is 78% funded.

    Wow. And I have seen the Indianapolis Public School system. They need all the help they can get.

    I saw a commercial for the Member's Project, so I looked to see if DonorsChoose.org is on it again this year and it is! They're #2 right now, so vote if you can.
