I like Death Cab, but I only have their two more recent albums. "Marching Bands of Manhattan" is my favorite off of Plans. "Crooked Teeth" is great, too. From Transatlanticism, I really like "Death of an Interior Decorator" and "We Looked Like Giants."
I actually really like "You Can Play These Words With Chords." The songs on that are great simply because it feels like they weren't really sure what they wanted to sound like just et, as evident by "Hey Tomcat!" and "This Charming Man" (which may be my favorite song by them)
Yeah, This Charming Man is a pretty hard cover to pull off, but theirs is one of my favourite versions.
I will admit that up until a few months ago, I had no idea that it was a cover. It's originally by the Smiths, right? (For some reason or another, I never really got into The Smiths)
mm yes death cab is quite amazing. and postal is working on a new album so thats exciting.
favorite songs?
I really like Crooked Teeth, and my favorite of all time is I Will Follow You Into The Dark
