FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS...

in their own words used to be "New Zealand's 4th most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo". Now they are "the almost award-winning fourth-most-popular folk duo in New Zealand.".

Composed of Bret and Jemaine, two of the coolest New Zealanders ever! This show is way too awesome!

    I don't have a favorite, but I love the Bowie episode! I was watching it and i was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe hahah

    And then I made my brother watch it, and we were both hysterical! it was amazing!!

    but then again, i love David Bowie, and Jemaine does a GREAT Bowie impression! it was sooo good!

    but then i remembered it from the episode haha

    i love that part of the song, "Just because you’ve been exploring my mouth Doesn’t mean you get to take an expedition further south." hahaha

    I love how they are both like so innocent haha, but that girl from the episode annoyed me haha

    o sorry that you can't watch it on tv. my dad said he was going to cancel the hbo on demand thing after The Sopranos ended and i had to like beg him not to. And he didn't so now i get to watch it! you can also watch it on the hbo website as well.

    and yes, they are soo silly!

    At V-Fest this weekend, people could txt things to a number and they would display on a scrolling marquee across the top of the main stage. I swear I saw more FoTC references go across that board - "Wear an eye patch, Bret - David Bowie, ca.1982", "Who's Da BOOM KING?", "Yes, Affirmative", "It's Business Time"; the list just goes on and on. It was so awesome that Adam and I sent the following txt about the weather: "It's so Hot. Like a Curry."

    I say "yes" in a NZ accent now. To any and all qyestions, my response is "yehs."
    It's also really fun to say, "yehs actuually," the way Jemaine finally answers Bret's "was it that I abandoned you when we got mugged?" and "is it that I eat too loudly?"

    Thank you! I'm going to see if I can get there and wait by the side door that guests use. I have a new camera that I've been wanting to try out. BTW, I saw Johnny Depp there last year and I have to say -- boy, is he short.

    Forget everything I just said. I think they usually do double shows on Thursdays and don't have live audiences on Fridays.

    wow I do the exact same thing! I always say "yehs actually" now with a NZ accent haha that is too funny!

    She means they tape shows for both Thursday and Friday on Thursday, so that's when you would be able to see it live.
