Ah, good old-fashioned bribery. Tdog? South Bend is a lot closer than DC...
For some reason, when someone said Notre Dame it didn't click that the show was just north of her by a mere TWO HOURS. More information about this needed immediately before I have a fit. Or maybe that's just the Rockstar I drank.
Waaaah! Notre Dame's two hours away from here, too!
I need to find more details about this show.
There aren't many details available. Notre Dame never announces "The Show" until right before the beginning of the year, I think tickets aren't pre-sold, and they do check ID's at the door. Everything I know about the concert is the date, time, and band here http://www3.nd.edu/~theshow/, plus Mr. Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore's facebook response to me:

"It is so." Students only; Notre Dame, Holy Cross, and St Marys.
Have fun!

Not much information at all, which is why I bothered to ask Mr. Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore and confirm. They probably won't even announce which building the concert is in until the beginning of that week. As for sneaking in, I don't know how many of the students go to The Show, and how many would be willing to lend someone an ID. And I do know from past experience at concerts and football games that at least some of the guards do look at the picture and name on a student's ID. But then, I'm sure there are some who don't check at all. Anyways, sorry I'm not of more help. There isn't very much information available, that's just how "The Show" is run.
Get ready for the state fair - or at least GW’s version of one. Fall Fest 2007 will take place on Saturday September 8 with a state fair theme, according to a press release by the event’s sponsor, GW Program Board. Pop-rock band OK Go will headline the concert with openers Derek James, who appeared at last semster’s Fountain Day, and GW’s own Bottles/Cans.
In addition to the musical performers, the afternoon in University Yard will include a mechanical bull, a dunk tank, a rock wall, and free BBQ food. The festivities begin at 2 p.m.
Dammit Rachel, I missed your phone call. We were driving through Cincinnati *we were lost* in the pouring rain and I didn't hear the phone.
So what happened?
I was calling during "Don't Ask Me", much like you did for me.
I need time to mentally process all the amazing that happened tonight, and I'm sorry to say that I probably will want to keep some of it to myself. I'll say a few things now though, and maybe more tomorrow. Pictures are Definitely forthcoming.
Damian doesn't deserve his asshole bad rap. In fact I'd have to say he's probably one of the nicest, most gracious guys I've ever met. Treat him with respect and it's amazing how he responds. I, just wow.
Dan continues to be awesome. He definitely hooked some sisters up this evening. Amy and I were so grateful. We just couldn't stop talking about how great Dan is.
Andy, I adore you even more for not hating me for being a Yankee fan, and for giving credit where it's due. As if "23" weren't enough.
Tim, thank you so much for recognizing me. I may change my shout to "Tim's House" because you continue to just be the coolest BAMF on the face of the earth. I hope to someday be half as cool as you.
Oh, and to Mike Clark, Mike Kent, and Jordan - You guys are just as awesome and everyone who's ever been to an OK Go concert owes you a great big freaking debt of gratitude.
The tour's over guys. Damian said so tonight. I'm so happy for them, they really deserve the break. And when they come back out on the road, I know that I will definitely be first in line for my tickets.
*sigh* Wait till you guys see these freaking pictures and videos.

*haha* I know! You probably live a good few minutes from me. We could share a ride.

Sounds risky but doable.
But I don't think I'll be able to go. It's a school night, and it's two hours away. And plus, I'm not sure I could pull off being a student. I dunno.
Wow, you're right! For some reason I had the seventh pegged as a Thursday.
Hm.
They're talking about a different show now, Bren. The DC show is the 8th, but the Notre Dame show is the 7th.
Me bad.
OK Go to Headline Fall Fest

Good luck getting from Indiana to DC in a day, guys.
Anyone going, then?
