When I moved this year from the Gold Coast to Melbourne I decided to drive the 2000 odd kilometres and I decided to do it in the middle of the night. As such, I got to pass many a truck (I even almost went under one when a dead kangaroo tried to kill us but that's a whole other story) and I noticed that in the middle of the night, trucks are just so much prettier than they are during the day because in the middle of the night, trucks are lit up like christmas trees.
I feel like I should have taken pictures of aforementioned Christmas Tree trucks, but alas my camera phone is made of fail. One truck even had a big glowing sign proclaiming that it was the "Road King".
Does anyone else appreciate Christmas Tree Trucks like I do?

But I will also see your love for Christmas Tree Trucks and raise you trucks from the more southward regions of the United States. Unlike up north, when driving up from North Carolina, we passed many a customized truck. In the north, they're usually just plain ol' trucks, but these were painted like fighter planes, with pin-up girls and various names for their truck. My personal favorite was one truck christened the "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk."
Love at first sight.

Honky Tonk Badonkadonk is truly the greatest sounding truck in the history of the Universe. Did you get a picture of the Honky Tonk Badonkadonk?
I have seen some customized trucks that were pretty amazing.
Actally, one of them was a school bus that was closed off about two or three rows back, so that it had a flat bed like a truck, and it was used to pull a 5th wheel. The truck/bus thing was painted all nice with stripes that were black and white checkered, and I believe it also had some flames. I think they were pulling one of those trailers where the back opens up for say a dirtbike, or something.
I'm not one for trucks, but I have to say, it was quite amazing.

lol I think they look better at night 'cause you can't see how fucking huge they are so it's less scary.
Even the ones that do scare me more at night
I dislike over-taking them more, 'cause sometimes they're arseholes and speed up and it's like Damnit, there are only a couple of hundred metres in the overtaking lane left, and then the lane closes and you're stuck behind a slow truck again. Wankers. lol
Ooh, and while I was on vacation, we were stuck in traffic and people were saying there was an accident (my dad has a cb radio) and we were behind a truck carrying flammable gas or somehting, and I was afraid it was going to blow up if there was a fire by the accident.
...Well there wasn't an accident, and I worried for nothing.
But they'll still be big and intimidating looking.
Did you girls know that "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" is actually a song?
I am shocked that I am not shocked lmao
god, my brother listens to that song because it annoys me and he thinks it's funny.
it was kinda funny the first time.
but he never stops.
otherwise, I don't like big scary trucks. and I don't think I've ever seen the pimped-out ones either, the furthest south I've been was Tennessee and I don't remember much about that cause I was much younger.
