I didn't actually know who Michael Vick was until I looked him up. I had no idea he was a "celebrity" and I have to say that it is fantastic that justice will be served. I get so angry when celebrities are treated as though they are above the law, how is that possibly allowing justice or equality?
Anyway, it's nice to see how well this case has been handled and i hopefully it can set a precedent, not just for treating animal cruelty, but also for dealing with public figures.
So often you see stuff in the news about animal cruelty and when they catch the person they try to get off with some bullshit excuse like depression. It makes me so angry.
Recently in Australia a black lab was impaled on a fence. The dog survived thank god, but they had to sedate the poor thing while they removed it from the fence, I don't know if they caught the person responsible but it's enough to make me physically ill.

That just almost made me puke. I don't even understand how someone could do that. I'm speachless.
I know Every time someone mentions animal cruelty I'm reminded of a year or two ago when a British woman put her cat in the washing machine... I can't even say what happened to the poor animal (died, of course) it bothers me too much. The bitch tried to argue she was suffering depression and if I remember correctly she got a pretty light sentence.
It really sends the wrong fucking message to people when they let people get away with hurting anyone. It's like drink drivers who get a warning and then next time, when they hit a person they just get a slap on the fucking wrist. It makes me so angry.

it made me giggle
I know! I just cannot comprehend what could compel someone to hurt something so innocent and defenseless .
You'd have to be really sick.

Oh my god, I know! Animal cruelty is disgusting and sad.
Some asswipe in my health class was like, "leave Michael Vick alone! What he did wasn't so bad!"
That really pissed me off. I attacked him.
Verbally, of course.
I don't know what makes anyone think it's ok to harm anything: human, plant,or animal.
It's truly disgusting that someone with so much money couldn't find a better thing to do with their time.
Poor dogs. It's times like these that make me think of the Romans, I wish we could feed him to the lions!
off topic, but I need to answer: DJ Rose made my signature. I got from JC.
