So, in his SDR blog, Andy has posted about Serious Business act
. So I checked them out. They are really wonderful. I myspace friended them and I got this bulletin today, so I'm reposting.
Rocketship Park is participating in an online music contest of sorts. Basically, the more votes we get, the better our chances of winning!
There is live video of us playing the music, a song called "Seasons", posted at the site. Use the following link:
http://lg.eprize.net/makethemusic/?video_i...169ef14449f8a4bAll you have to do is click on the above link (or copy and paste it into your browser if the link doesn't appear) and then click "VOTE FOR THIS VIDEO". You will then be instructed to sign-up, which only involves entering your email address. You don't even need to watch the video! You can vote up to 3 times per day with the same email address, and you can do it back to back to back (so it takes less than 30 seconds to vote for us 3 times.) If you have more than one email address (or if you have a fake email address...wink-wink....), you can vote 3 times per day from each address.
Just trust me on this, guys. I've listened to their myspace playlist on repeat several times.

I don't think I need to stress how amazingly great it would be for not only Rocketship Park but also Serious Business as a whole for them to win.
Just throwing that out there.
btw, don't forget, you can vote three times in a row per day.

I really love Birthday Death Wish. I can't resist the pedal steel!

Mmm yes Birthday Death Wish is brilliant. It's probably my favorite of the four. Although Spinning Globes With You is amazing. Oh what the hell am I saying? I can't wait for that damn CD to come out so I can buy it and listen over and over and over!!!
That is REALLY strange. Try again?
Delaware. No one actually knows anything about it so you won't risk questions (not like they would ask, but..)
maybe we could be roomates at
12 Ok Go Street
Palisades NY
zip code 10960
(it's a valid address using Ok Go's contact info. )
the trick would be to have a valid zip code according to the city and state one registers, that's why I used Ok Go's address.
look! there's a concert in NY city next month, we should totally drive there.
they are very good, and Serious Business is definitely worth it.
we should, we really should... but wait, I think there's this really really appointmentish appointment I have. um, sorry, can't go. Not possible. nope. haha
No way! If you aren't going then I'm not going either
Hee hee, I know! We're so ahead of him on this, !
