Jakob Dylan mentions Trucks in new hit single

edited November -1 in General Discussion
I recently bought Jakob Dylan's first solo album and it is bliss! You may have heard his new single, especially if you have XM, Something Good This Way Comes. I love the line "Trucks are pulling in for the show, trucks are pulling in for the show." So nice, he had to mention trucks twice!

  • I saw your complaint and decided that I would comment on your thread smile.gif Sorry, I never come to this section of the board. Mainly because I'm not a big automobile person. But I do drive a truck. I haven't heard that song though.
  • Haha, thanks Rebecca! It's great. The music video for it came out just recently and it's about "small town life."

  • I just watched the video. I liked the song. It has a nice tune. I've never heard of Jakob Dylan before.
  • Surely you have! He's the lead singer of The Wallflowers and Bob Dylan's son (although he doesn't like it when people mention the latter in interviews and such).
  • hmm, I don't think so. I never really listened to the Wallflowers and I didn't know he was Bob Dylan's son. But I didn't really use to be a huge music fanatic until recently-ish. And I still don't know a lot about different bands and stuff.
  • Many many years ago when I was in 9th grade, my best friend and I used to skip school and try to see if we could find Jakob Dylan roaming around somewhere in Minneapolis, just because he was Bob's son and we were obsessed with Bob, and we were HOPING that since Bob was from MN and still had a house here that there would be some pathetic remote chance that we would spot Jakob and then stalk him of course. LOL. We were in need of some direction for sure!
  • I can't imagine a better freshman year than that.
  • Just looking to see how many trucks are on here with air ride or adjustable suspension of any kind. Or just some really nice cars or trucks are low and possibly looking to make the leap to air ride.
