Scrub the "UK" in the topic title above. With petrol (sigh..."gas") prices being what they are here, it'll cost me far too much to travel to Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland - so I'm talking "England".
When is OKGo going to tour England?*
I have a spare room, if accommodation is a problem for the band and their crew. It was my daughter's until we decorated the larger bedroom for her. The small room does still have sunflower yellow walls and Winnie the Pooh stickers, but the view of the backyard is terrific (if you press your face against the glass and peer downwards).
Regarding tour stops, my home town of Swindon has many things going for it as a rock band venue and few folk, if any, can still claim that it warrants its historic slur as the Arse End of England. Besides, Lydiard Park (outdoor venue
par excellence) is just 5 minutes walk away - so OKGo can save on transport by carrying the instruments and sound kit. And the cafe there sells toasted sandwiches, soft drinks and three varieties of tea. After the show and for amusement, the band can enjoy an hour or two attempting to navigate Swindon's Magic Roundabout as have many, many tourists before them.
Well?
Regards,
Carmody
PS: *If OKGo have recently toured the UK, I don't apologise: I am a recent fan and I demand either
a return vist to the UK so that I can attend or
free first class transport and accommodation (and Disney passes) for five friends and me to see the band in the USA.

Many thanks for the info, Electra. Guess I'll just have to wait.

PS: Train fares to London from here are extortionate. I had to remortgage my house for my last return trip!
