I'm a little late to this topic. Hope it's not too late to add my two cents worth. Got here lookin for the lyrics to TGSIEH, an it seems nobody knows for sure. So here's what I think I'm hearing...

ChristelAdina already posted a guess as to the lyrics for this song on page 2 of this thread and we've all agreed that these are probably correct.  I'll quote them for you below.  You're not that far off from her, but she's getting some references that you've missed (ie Cat Power, the musician).

I'm really kind of disappointed that there's no Nate Dogg
reference (I originally thought I heard one on the studio version and I found it kind of awesome).

 

Keep in mind this is coming from your Queen of Mondegreens. Plus I read WAY too much into lyrics sometimes, which explains how my first attempt at this on Tumblr has lines relating to Kat Bjelland and Jason Mraz...
