Dear OK Go,
I'm an engineering student from UC Berkeley and my engineering fraternity will be holding Berkeley's first ever Rube Goldberg Machine contest on April 17, 2010. Also known as Berkeley's biggest day ever, CalDay. It's when 30,000 people come to Berkeley to check out the school.
You probably know that Rube Goldberg was a College of Mining graduate at Berkeley and this contest is a dedication to him. Theta Tau, Berkeley first co-ed professional engineering fraternity, would like to invite you to our 1st Rube Goldberg Competition. I know you're all busy and you have concerts and whatnot, but a shoutout or anything would be awesome. I'm you sure you get silly requests such as these all the time, but hey, I figure it's worth a shot.
Sincerely,
Regine Labog
