Newbie member with videos
Hello, all –
I'm a new member and wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed your posts – I've been lurking a bit for the last few months.
I went to the 930 Club show in DC and have posted a few short clips from it on YouTube. My user name is mamabear912, so I believe you can search using that, and the vids will pop up.
I'm a LOT older than most of you, and although that may seem weird, I'm ecstatic that I'm finally hearing damned good music again. I grew up in the 60's and 70's — cut my teeth on all the big names — and was floored to hear their influence in OK Go's music.
Anyway, I'll be posting some more videos later on.

Hi,mb912! It's not weird that you're "older". Welcome! While I cannot find good music on the radio or Tv I have been able to find it on-line. I have a myspace page just for music discovery. There are some awesome musicians out there!!

Your accounts of the 930 Club and Rams Head were excellent! Thanks for posting them. I was going to double dip and go to Rams Head, but was really turned off by their no-camera policy. I had thought that was pretty much up to the performing artists as to whether they would allow cameras. I guess not.
