What do we all think of "Oh My Beautiful World?" I think that it is an amazing song. I have found that with a few notable exceptions (Laurie Anderson, Kate bush, etc) most female vocalists with that kind of voice pay little attention to the actual composition of their music and rely on strings of notes that, if played on a piano, would drive people from the room. The music I have heard from Lavender Diamond (I listened to the stuff on Spotify) seems to frame her voice within complex and heart achingly beautiful melody. OMBW is an evolved and polished piece that makes me thirst to hear the rest of the album.
