That reminds me of one of my favorite songs...

lmao that owns. But yo, we've got enough theme parks already. I live in the Theme Park Capital of Australia. It's disturbing.

I guess no one should tell that guy that we have so many kangaroos we're culling them 'cause they're pests.

  • You guys know that like all the water that comes out of your taps has been through atleast 8 other people? lol
  • Yes, no water that we drink is new, it's been around since the dinosaurs.

your drinking the same water the dinosours drank

  • Well, dinosaur water is old, which means at some point it's probably been around poop. All water is recycled, so drinking water that was poop one step ago isn't so bad.
  • i just drink bottled waterr.

    all the time.

i hate thinking of tap water.

    eck.
  • at least tap water has standards... bottled water can just say "from swiss glaicers" and it really could just be bottled tap water....

Fel is right, tap water has standards. According to studies, tap water is better and safer to drink than bottled water, because tap water plants have specific regulations and are quality checked more often. The reason that people prefer the taste of bottled water is because of the lack of the chemical chlorine. This may sound like a good thing, but in fact is not: chlorine is chemical added to all tap water plants to further cleanse water so it can't grow bacteria. However, it does at a "minerally" taste which bottled water lacks. Since most bottled water lacks chlorine (or just has a miniscule amount), it's more likely to grow bacteria, and could cause illness. And that's a fact.
  • i wouldnt drink recycled poo just becasue,
well ill eat food that fell on the ground but a liquid...
if im drinking and i realize half way through that the glass is dirty, i wont finish, so i definately wont drink recycled crap.
  • ... if you live in the US and Canada i think you probably already do...
  • nuh uh..
    like the tap water??????
cause thats basically all i drink..
  • ... i think in the US and Canada alot of the water is "reclaimed" aka recycled sewage...

    QUOTE
Many cities across the United States have exercised the use of reclaimed water as a result of discharge restrictions or low fresh water supplies. Arid climates, high populations, and close proximity to oceanic saltwater intrusion have been the most proactive of all the users of reclaimed water

its perfectly safe... and besides, you wouldn't even know if it wernt for this tread... so dont worry rolleyes.gif tongue.gif

It's not just places where there's a water problem, it's just a lot of random places. They do it to conserve water.

Yes. Those places were more clever than my Government. The dicks waited 'til we were in the grips of a horrible drought to consider the fast growing population and diminishing rainfall before suddenly going, "HOLY SHIT WE'RE GONNA RUN OUT OF WATER, NOW WHAT DO WE DO".

    Gah.
  • That's Australia for you. You know, if you got the kangaroos out of high government positions, I think you'd be better off.
