hey grammy award winning ok go,
thank you for the magnificent show in munich yesterday!
i really don't know how you come up with all this stuff... i'm imagining tour bus conversations:
"hey, we got any tambourines left over? let's give em to the kids!"
"what do you say, how bout we play some songs like among the audience?"
"what could we do for our new single... i suggest pink blow up things!"
very very great. you so deserve that grammy!
and thank you so much for dancing for us! such grace, such beauty!

They gave tamborines during the show?? And played among the audience?(or were you just kidding?)
How awesome would that be?
Yep, they've been throwing tamborines out into the crowd right before "Don't Ask Me", and doing an acoustic set out in the audience.
exactly.
they said that there's this cliche about germans not having any rhythm and they wanted to disprove it, so they threw some pink tambourines into the crowd with an okgo print on them. unfortunately, some of the people that caught them were drunk and very arythmical, so i'm not sure whether this helped with the cliche at all...
and three of the band came down off of the stage and played a million ways and what to do, with two acoustic guitars and a xylophone. very pretty. the drummer stayed behind his drumset and started into the next song after they were done.
that's a lot of interaction with the audience! i've never seen anything like that.
yes they headlined the show. the line up was:
20:00 plain white t's (didn't see them)
bromheads jacket (art brut with more punk)
the films (mando diao, only younger and with more make up)
and then 23:00 ok go
the place was standard indie size but not sold out at all... i'd say half full... sadly. but the people that were there were having a blast i really can't estimate the number of people though, sorry.
luckily the band seemed quite happy with the crowd, i thought they might be disappointed but i don't think they were. they may just have been drunk still though (grammy)
are you going to bremen from the uk??
(for everyone else: I was just crying about the fact I have to wait and stand for 3 hours until Ok Go are finally playing!)
