Ok Go Ringtones

edited November -1 in OK Go
I just got a new cellphone, and I looked at capitolrecords.com to buy an Ok Go ringtone, but there was none. I mean, there was a link for one, but it didn't work. In the end I just made my own Ok Go ringtone and sent it to myself, but I kinda want to buy an official one if there is one available. Does anybody know of where they could be sold?

I mean, there's a lot of sites selling Ok Go ringtones, such as http://www.starpulse.com/Music/OK_Go/Ringtones/
or
http://www.web2txt.co.uk/ok_go-polyphonic-ringtones.html
but I dunno- is Ok Go actually getting any money from these places? Cuz if they're not, I don't wanna pay random ppl when Ok Go isn't getting any cut

thanks!

We would love to sell you ring tones, only we don't have any yet. Sorry.

That's pretty cool that you made your own
  • Thanks! but aaaaaw, man, that stinks.
  • I just got my from the VZN Tones Delux store. It cost me like $2.99, but it plays a decent clip of DWYW.

If you have Verizon, they have HIGA and Oh Lately too. I don't recall them having any others, but I could be mistaken.
  • I actually bought "Get Over It" from Cingular. I am not sure about who gets what money, but I wanted it that badly.
  • I have one of those mp3 phones, so i can use bluetooth to get OK Go tracks straight from my computer to my phone... I have the "real" HIGA, AMW, You're So Damn Hot and Get Over It on mine. The phone wasn't expensive either...
  • Same here. I didn't want to purchase a ringtone from random people. I have a Motorola and just made my own too.
  • I just remembered. In the Oh No CD/DVD there was an advertisement with Damian holding a Moto Razr. Here is a (bad)scan of the insert:image
  • aw, what a cool ad! the ad that came with mine was just Capitol Records advertising themselves.
    But thanks!
hmm- the site in the corner of that ad looks strangely umm iffy, but Ok Go is there, so I guess I'm off to text those numbers, lol. Thanks, rocksugar!
  • Yeah, the flipside of the insert has the Capitol Records building on it. I don't know who the proceeds from the ringtone purchases go to, but I think it's safe to say that it is "OK Go Approved" since it was in their Oh No CD/DVD.

Can you let us know what the quality is like? Is it the actual songs? Thanks!

And you may call me Mia. smile.gif
  • You can also try the OK Go-approved Sweet Relief Musician's Fund, all the proceeds to go a good cause.
