  • I biked for the first time in months today. I live in the hilly area of CT so I felt like I was going to die.

[Hooray for being out of shape!]

However, there's something about bikes that are so quaint and calming. I love riding them... if only it was flat enough here so I didn't feel like I was dying whenever i have to go up those killer "gradual" slope hills that go on (seemingly) for miles.

    YAY BIKES
  • bikes are cool! until u fall off of them...

ok, time to ask a dumb question.
can someone tell me what PM is or means? Is it just like IM? How does it work?
I have computer technology phobia. That's why i don't have myspace either.
ok c-ya later! gotta eat dinner!
  • On this website you have the ability to send someone a personal message (PM). It's kind of like e-mailing the person's screen name. That way you can tell that person something without having to put up a post that everyone else has to bother reading. You can hold up to 50 PM's in your inbox, or delete ones, it's similar to e-mail in that way.

Enjoy dinner, what are you having?

congrats on post 500, oknow. You're halfway to being a thousand island dressing!

yes. they are evil. I once went to a sleepover in elementary school and this girl's house was plastered in NKOTB. she even had a sleeping bag with a matching pillowcase. sad.

You know what? I have a NKOTB bed spread set. I have no opinion on them. I was too young to even know who they were but my cousins LOVED them then hated them so it got passed on to me. I ususally use 2 pillow cases for some reason so I don't know for sure but.... I think I'm sleeping on Marky Mark.
  • I rode in a truck today . . . . BAHA STYLE!!!!

    THREE TIMES, TOO!!!

    hahahahahahahaha

    it was lovely.

    and I died too

  • I'm currently wearing a corset for no practical reason (but, really, when were corsets every practical?). It was fit exactly to me, so it's currently sucking in EVERYTHING. It's actually really amusing because i hate some carrots and I can actually feel my stomach. Eeeeh.

    Hoorah corset!

why are you wearing a corset and where did you get it?
  • I'm wearing a corset because I finally bought it from the school yesterday. The school had funded the puchase of handmade corsets for our use for our play, The Importance of Being Earnest.

It was totoally worth buying; I'm so attached to it.

That is sooooo cool!!! I wanna corset too! Gimmee! (I'm gonna be like the evil step sisters on Cinderella and rip that corset greedily away from you). But wait? That means you'll get the handsome prince in the end. Ok, give me that corset and I'll go get Prince Charles. Lucky you get to be in a play. That sounds like so much fun!

Haha, trust me, corsets are pretty, but incredibly uncomfrotable. I'm not looking forward to taking this off and the few minutes of uncomfort that comes with your ribs shifting back into place (they're currently somewhat compressed, but only temporarily).

I hate to sound trite, but acting is my life. I recently foung out I got into Tisch at NYU, but thanks to the $50,000/year tution, it doesn't seem very probable that I'll go. I doubt I'll give up striving to be onstage though. It's such a rush and such as passion that I really can't imagine my life without it. It's so addictive.

...sorry that I kinda waxed poetic thur. haha.
  • what the hell? where did you see that?

I love corsets, too. It sucks that NYU doesn't give financial aid--have you gotten into any other schools with good drama departments?

haha, as far as i can tell they just give you two bands at random, i was also greatly amused when i was given the option of bright eyes vs ricky martin...
  • haha, this is absurd....AFI vs. Rihanna, Ludacris vs. Switchfoot. weird....

I think my favorite end to a song ever is probably "there's a...WHOA!" from There's a Fire. It always makes me smile.
  • I clikced on that game til OKGo came up. Took a good few minutes. THey're against Lil'Wayne (who?!?!) wonder who's gonna win haha.
  • That game is hard because a lot of them I've never heard of but they're up against things I reall hate:

    Aslyn or Mariah Carey

Well, I really hate Mariah Carey, but could Aslyn be worse? Who knows?
