ahahhahahahhahah thats halarious! hehe i cant stop laughing.. what wa sthe occasion?
My friend invited us out to go to a costume party, so I went as a man (I was wearing my boyfriend's shirt, a tie, short shorts underneath (that you couldn't see) and long socks. I was just about to go when my friend from home suprised me with a visit. She and my roomies all dressed like men and we were about to go out when it started to snow. So, we went to the local diner instead.
Um, I've been playing for 11 years now! Long time now that I think of it... Do you play?
I wish baby grand! It's an ucky upright... hasn't been tuned in nearly 20 years, yewwww. Maybe it'll get tuned for my birthday
I played for about 9 years, but I haven't genuinely practiced in months.
I have an upright too. It's at least 70 years-old and can't hold a tune. (We got it for free from an old woman who was moving. I was tiny, so my mom really didn't care what type of piano we had, as long as it was mildly in tune.)
Isn't it weird, when you get used to playing on an out-of-tune piano, to actually play a really nice piano and be like, "OH LOOK! IT SOUNDS REASONABLE!"
I tend to develop crushes on pianos too. It's weird.

Some random Smith alumna once decided that every house should have a piano, so she donated a bunch of money and now there's a baby grand in every house at Smith. However, none of them have been tuned in any decent amount of time. (At least, Park's hasn't been, anyway.) My mom started threatening that if it wasn't tuned, she was going to go pay for it herself, but alas, she never did.

Yeah, same for me, ours is my grandma's old one and my mum really couldn't give a flying intercourse if it was in tune or not, I just needed a piano so I could actually practice between lessons... and yeah. It is crazy to play on an in-tume piano, it's awesome! 'cept sometimes they sound out of tune to me when they actually are in tune... hmm.
I get crushes on pianos too, don't worry. There's this gorgeous old lovely one that's kinda falling apart in one of the practice rooms at school I just discovered. Oh my it's lovely. It's all chipped and stuff but the sound is so beautiful. 'cept, high C doesn't work. ha.
I get crushes more on people who play the piano though... -cough-

Hahahah I agree about the piano-player crushes. I was pretty much infatuated with a guy when he played to opening to Rhapsody in Blue. Mmmmmmm.
My biggest crush was on a custom-made, bright red, baby grand in some NYC thrift store. THe thing played beautifully (keys were light like an upright but had the sound of a baby grand). Ooooh I loved it.
P.S. "flying intercourse" may be one of the greatest phrases I have ever heard

We were totally the favorites.
Aw shucks! I'm glad Van Buren (or, as I like to call him, V.BUR) approves. I wake up every morning wanting to make him proud.

This is how they responded:
