The Mountain Goat's cover of Neutral Milk Hotel's "Two-Headed Boy" It's beautiful. "I AM LISTENING TO HEAR WHERE YOU ARE. I AM LISTENING TO HEAR WHERE YOU ARE."
Art Brut "My little brother" (only in my head... is it possible to NOT sing it for the rest of the day when you've heard it(or only a small part of it) in the morning?)
at the moment, ive been digging lots of australian bands. Augie march, Dappled Cities and my favorite Eskimo Joe. Their debut album is coming out next week, but i've had my copy since its australian release last year. The track "New York" is so beautiful and haunting. Breaks my heart in a good way.
i highly recommend aussie rock, but i'd start with Eskimo Joe www.myspace.com/eskimojoemusic
stick-shifts and safety belts, bucket seats have all got to go when I'm driving in my car, it makes my baby seem so far .... I need you here with me, and not way over in the bucket seat I need you to be here with me, and not way over in the bucket seat.
