Comments
one sample of thier rockage... Under the Bridge... another is Give it away...
im sorry but im not sure what you mean by lo fi stuff...
a great and completely opposite band is The Russian Futurists... and they have a wonderful song called "Paul Simon"... its kinda like synth pop... and plus thier Torontonian... and also plus the vid rocks...
Sondre Lerche
Sublime,
Ok Go (of course)
Blind Melon,
The Shins,
Travis,
Rufus,
...?
Two of my other favourites are The Sun and Scamper, both of whom have opened for OK Go. The Sun's latest album, Blame It On The Youth, is really nifty, because it's actually a DVD with music vids for al 14 songs on it, and then you can pop the DVD into your computer and rip the songs on to your iPod, and they won't get pissed. And Scamper's Leave Your Glasses On is pure college pop rock goodness, and they're really cool guys, too.
Oh ya I have to say this awesome track Called "Your Ex-lover is dead" By Stars... One of the awesomest songs i've ever heard. It's softer then Beck and DFA1979.
"Your Ex-Lover Is Dead" by STARS
By "lo fi" do you mean soft? Sorry I'm Pretty lame when it comes to music vocab.
Everyone listen to that STARS song... It will rock your socks.
