You will always have someone to watch Jeopardy with; certainly there are a lot of francophones, but there will most likely be quite a large number of anglophones as it seems that most of the purely-French speakers go to UQAM or UdeM.
I wouldn't say a "ton," but I certainly know a few, and I'm sure most would be willing to help you out (one of my friends loves and is very good at making lists of things to do and places to go, and I'm sure she'd give you a hand).

If you would like to hit up a concert or two, when you're there, you can always go to Cheap Thrills (which I mentioned before). They have a list up of all the bands playing in the area AND sell tickets. The bigger names will probably be sold out (unless you find tickets online before), but it's always a good place to look to see who's around and nab a few tickets.
