-Dancing amid childrens' videos -Finding "Punk Farm," a childrens' book about animals who like to rock out (I was so amused, I took a picture with my camera phone. I plan on checking it out next week. I don't care what the librarians think; it's an amazing book.) -Johnathan Safran Foer (his books make me cry in public) -listening to a Spanish metal band -Laughing so hard that I fall on the floor
Getting my picture taken with DAN! And giving him my favorite sunglasses. And then him wearing it in all the pictures taken with the gaggle of girls that followed me!
-It's kind of weird... but I enjoy being tired sometimes. It gives me an excuse to act like a throw run and curl up on desks while talking to friends in between periods. It's also why I love lock-ins (even though the next morning, I never remember what happened during the night). -Gravity Rides Everything -The word Potato -Relearning Cat's Cradle (one of the Hippies taught me how to do cat's whiskers and jacob's ladder. I'm was so happy, I showed my math teacher. He wasn't so thrilled) -Tuesdays at the library when my library friend comes to visit. Next week, he promised me a fully written out story. I'm not sure what it's about, but it's in return for the three pages I wrote him about why I put certain songs on a mix for him (I always write out long pages of things for my friends because, if you couldn't tell by my posts, I love writing/typing to an unhealthy extent). He's one of the few people who has actually taken it upon himself to return the favor. I love stories. -cameras -Mobus strips (mobius? mobus? whatever.)
(ok, I posted a lot today, but it's been a happy day) -Crying over good books and having my freinds freak about why I'm crying -Finding lost books (<3 <3 <3) -Swinging on swings with a guyfriend and laughing about how we wished we were little kids simply because they can have conversations like this: Kid 1: I'M A DINOSAUR!!!! RAWR!!! Kid 2: ME TOO!!!! LET'S EAT SOMETHING!!!! All other kids: RAWR! Being a kid was awesome. Now, it's more like, Teen 1: I'M A DINOSAUR!!! RAWR!!!! Teen 2: ...what the fuck are you on? -Food -Wrapping myself up in blankets on couches
Ass punching is awkward because you have to kind of hunch over and time the punch so that you aim correctly... it's far too much trouble.
However, I play slaps... which is not much better on terms of weirdness (it's where you hold hands with someone and take turns slapping the other person's hand until somone gives)
"Doug is here and he;s amazing and he just bit me! damn it. doug 1000 amy 8 YAY~
go see anything goes tomorrow NOW!"
-Doug Yolen (who just raped my computer... not literally as that would be messy andkind of gross)... he just realized this is the OK Go message board and put a shameless plug for no reason. Yay Doug.
edit: for clarification, Doug is in Anything Goes, our school's musical... and apparently likes to refer to himself in the 3rd person. We have a biting battle going on (we sneak up on one another and attack), and I hate to admit he's beating me horribly.
-going to The Cliffs with a friend and having a garden state moment where we screamed over the edge to the lake below. -Making up the worst slogans ever. For example: "Iowa: Not Connecticut" "Macaroni and Cheese: It's for Eating" -haivng paint under my fingernails from 3 hours of painting set
hahaha, this is the happy list. Not the "i got punched in the ass and now I'm sad" list.
-Being with someone you really like -holding hands, and when he squeezes your hand tighter. -"going to my locker", when actually I meet someone during his lunch.
