- that feeling of copied paper right from the printer... when it's still warm and smelling of... printed paper (I know, very vague, but still good) ... sounds extremely weird but I love it, ...in fact, I'm copying right now, and... aw
- even more: seeing Jack Penate!!! OMG AAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING.... I stood inches from the stage, and it was the weirdest feeling, I mean, I could have stolen his mic, I was that close... and... first concert I drank beer (and wine...).. and... I nicked the setlist at the end (someone took his so I had to get on stage to get the drummers) which is now attached to my fridge... then I got a plectron (those little things one plays guitar with...) and a tour poster of the blood red shoes (someone took the Jack Penate poster... ) and best of all: A picture with him...and me...and a friend. GREAT! (we met him backstage and after that we told my sister and that girl who "stole" his setlist and presumably also the poster was like "wha...?" HA!
- having my flat all done and ready, with huge posters of Damian, Tim and now the Blood Red Shoes...
- the look of awe when I tell people that I'm going to London to see OK Go... (most people are... London? England? You're flighing there?? To see OK Go??? WOW)
That would have to be my favourite movie of all time My wonderful parents ordered it from a DVD store last year and gave it to me as a surprise reward after I finished my exams. Best reward ever!

mmm... I love that too! I'm also really enjoying the warmth of my laptop and the relaxing whirr of the tiny fan inside. It's like a little person!

ugh, it's not so cool for the American college student who partially decided to go to McGill because it was more affordable. I should have transfered my money to my Canadian account when I had the chance. Now my parents are REALLY on my ass to get a job, which, granted is necessary. Still, I've been basically donating my body to science for moneys (hoorah for being a test subject!)
-Having one of your favorite bands play the venue next to your apartment, taking your dog for a walk after the show, and getting to say hi and take a picture with one of the guys in the band.
Folks, I present to you a picture of the G Family (Ginny Included) and Chris Thile of Nickel Creek!
He pet her and was just blown away by how sweet she is. Of course she is - She's Ginny Weasley.
- I'm taller than my dad!! I have been waiting for this moment for so long. For years I struggled to grow as I faced the torment of nicknames such as shorty, short stuff and runt. But never again. Finally, I win! And oh my God does it feel good
yes, thank god... although i guess I have to pay loads for my mobile bill, as it was an international call.... I got the mail, that the tickets are on their way to germany and I was really really relieved... now we only have to find a place to sleep, but i guess we'll just look for a cheap hostel, as it's only for one night (friday to saturday we want to stay up, as out flight is very early... )
-my TA giving me a HUGE break as i forgot to write a paper (??!?! WTF!!!) that was due yesterday, and letting me turn it in by 7pm thurs... even if he IS giving partial credit... durrr
-Meatloaf with Meat Loaf -Singing into my phone to leave a voice mail while walking to class -Becoming a test subject and making $12 for 40 minutes of listening to tones. Science and money?! Very yes. -Making a tea before bed tradition. Starting... now.
