MA show in April?

Yeah, that was driving me nuts because I wanted to buy tickets but on She Wants Revenge it says they're touring with Depeche Mode.

But the venue, Stubb's BBQ says that OK Go and The Lashes are playing with them, and that's what OK Go says.. so hopefully that is what is correct.

So...this post isn't really about the MA show in April, but it is about an MA show, so I'm posting it here anyway.

It looks like I am not going to Hawai'i in May after all. (My dad's probably going to take another job, but the new company says they'll pay for a trip to Hawai'i for the whole family. Which means we'll probably be going in like, July. Yayness.) This means that I might very well go to the May 18th show in Boston, assuming I'm not working by then. Yayness again!

I would be going to that show, except it's effing 18 plus!!!

I hate being only 16. Last year they had a separate concert that was all ages with four more popular bands. I went to that! But this BMP sounds really really good except its eighteen plus so I can't go.

Again.

I'm screaming inside right now, but not outside cause I would scare my parents... GAH!!!!!!!!

edit: Ok, so it WAS eighteen plus but I just checked and it doesn't say it anymore on the FNX website it just says "more announcements coming soon"... so maybe I will finally be able to see them play.

Same here. I am only 16 and those lame 18+ shows burst my bubble. But they dont come to AZ much so when they do it is mostly all ages shows... so it is a curse and a blessing at the same time...

I can't believe that you care about the cost of tickets. I'd pay through the nose to see OKGo. Infact when I did that little stalkfest last year, I spent hundred of pounds seeing them. And it was so totally worth it. And I'd so do it all again. Which is why I was seriously thinking about coming to the US in June. But I can't come

Every time I see them in Dallas I have to spend over $100 to get a hotel and then about $50 on gas, so quit complaining!

Three out of the five times I've seen them (or will have seen them...), all I've had to do is pay $10 for a ticket and walk 15 minutes downtown.

OOOOH! So I just discovered that Fashion People are opening for OK Go! I was predicting that they woud, haha.

Fashion People = a Northampton/Amherst band who I saw open for Apollo Sunshine back in February. They weren't the greatest band I've ever seen, but they were pretty damn good for high school guys. I'd really like to see where they are in like, five years- they've got potential.

So I guess it's really nifty that they're opening for OK Go. They must be excited.

Edit: They may not be high school guys...I may be making that up...
