wow the lovely pam is on the boards! i never go on the boards but since pam and carin are on now i will be too. haha i was just looking through my videos and i saw the video with roro, woot, vendro they made for the board and roro proposing to you all. lol
Oh those were good times! I miss the old board ...from before the summer lol. So really I guess it's not that old.
very awesome times!! lol i swear i was on the board almost 5 times a day, i joined the boards right after i saw the guys @ stubbs in austin back in feb 05. that was such an awesome show, that's when they were still doing the c-c-c-cinnamon lips dance. i was watching the video just a few minutes ago.

Hold up, you were at the Stubb's show in Feb 05? ME TOO! That one was definitely one of my favorite OK Go shows of last year... well, top 3, for sure. And it didn't help that the openers were HOT!

yah! i was there, it was my first ok go show and my first time in austin. i dragged my friend to see the guys and first she wasn't that into it but as soon as the first song finished i had her hooked. lol mmmm... me and my friend had cheese fries and chicken strips. those were really good.

Were any of you at the Emo's show just a few weeks back?

awww...now I'm getting all nostalgic. That was my first OK Go road/airplane trip. Good times. Aw, and Andy was so nervous and shy back then. And Cinnamon lips was so incredible. I miss it. (Good thing I got the VHS...) Oh yeah, and Damian gave me a cookie!

yah i remember that about andy, i was telling him about how long austin is to arizona. and he was like oh really. he didnt' believe me till he actually drove over there. yah he was totally shy and nervous, it was too cute.
yah damian gave me a cookie too, it was a girl scout cookie. some girl got infront of me and took a cookie and then damian stopped and told me to give him one. i was like wow what a nice guy.

Andy was such a shy guy when he first started.. I remember the Open End Gallery show, the second show he played (you were there Poison!) back in Feb '05 .. I remember being one of the only ones standing at the stage and thinking that Rusty was a new roadie That was an awesome show, having both Rusty and Slam Duncan there .. sigh..

I saw the guys for the first time in March '05, and Rusty had only been in the band for like, three weeks. And then he broke a guitar string, and Damian and Tim did the Confrontation from Les Miz. And then Damian's excuse for not playing more songs was that Rusty didn't know them.

I miss those little fun things they used to do. It's horrible, and I'll probably be chased from the board, but sometimes I wish they'd never publicized the Million Ways dance so much. It's attracted a whole new crowd that, in my mind, brings down the whole OK Go concert experience. But hey, maybe it's just me.

Other than the fact that Damian slid a DVD of it into my lap before it was leaked on the 'net.... yeah, you know my feelings on this. I'm just surprised when I hear people saying that "A Million Ways" is their favorite song. It's a great song, but the best? It makes me wonder if it's the only song they've ever heard.
Then again, it was the same way back in the day when "Get Over It" was out.

Open End Gallery...wow. That feels so long ago, even though it was only a year. Yeah, I remember Andy walked out, in his lil t-shirt and I was like, "dang, that's a cute guitar tech!". And then he came back out a few minutes later looking all dapper in his shrimpy dandy suit. And he just seemed so nervous, it was so cute.
Yep. That was a good weekend in February 05. The start of the madness, I'd say.

Agreed, so not just you. I think they were a whole lot better as an "indie" band. I miss how none of my friends' used to not know who they were. Does anyone else like pre-ok go andy better? IDK, I think he was so awesome before OK Go and now no one knows how good he really is because he's overshadowed by the rest of the band.

Man, I'd like to think that when Damian gave me my copy(into my hand, not my lap. damn you, sweetpea!) I could have foreseen the events of the next few months. And that what he was giving me would eventually bring them to, for example, Good Morning America... I don't know. It's just crazy how all that came about. And all the talk of things falling off the back of a truck or getting lost in the mail. Ha ha.
damn i wish i could have bought the Chic-A-Go-Go video. but i dont even own a vhs player anymore. i don't even know what a vhs tape looks like, lol im joking.

I've done that drive before, not fun. You know if they ever need a place to stay after that 7 or so hour drive from Austin to Arizona, my place is always opened, 24 hours. My place is conveniently located near everything. I've got 3 bedrooms, a nice size living room with a tv, and plenty of booze. I am sounding rather like a personal ad now in my desperate attempt for attention.

i remember the les mis. damn that was awesome!
I got snarky and yelled at them. They said it was 18th century France. It's 19th. I don't think they heard me, though.
