Dude, that drive is possibley the most boring drive ever. I10 is just desert from basically mid way between austin and el paso all the way to LA. Dude, how many time have I driven that?? Like a thousand. Those poor boys.....

See, the weird thing about me and Rusty and the band as an extension, I guess, is that I started listening to them way back in late 2003, but I knew NOTHING about the band. I knew that they were from Chicago. I knew that I loved the record. I knew that they danced at the end of their set. But that was about it. The website wasn't being updated a lot, probably because they were probably getting ready or about to start recording Oh No. It didn't dawn on me to join the boards back then, which would have been smart. They were one of my favourite bands, but I didn't know anything.
So while I've been a fan of the band for almost two and a half years now, it's only been in the past year or so that I've really found out a lot and started going to concerts. Which means that I never saw them play with Andy Duncan, and while I love Andy because, well, he's Andy, I don't have the same attachment to him that the rest of y'all do. Like I said, my first concert was when Rusty had just joined, so all of my recollections of the band are with him.
I guess in a way I feel kind of left out, because you guys (Carin, Pam, Poison, etc.) have all these memories of the guys from way back when, with Andy and them being so much smaller than they are today, that obviously, I'll probably never get to experience. It's just a different perspective, I guess.
And I don't know how I feel about how much publicity "A Million Ways" got. I'm really happy for them, and it would be a great day when I could say "OK Go is my favourite band" and not have 3/4 of the people I tell look at me like, "......?
Am I entitled to feel that way? I mean, some of you have been around so much longer than I have, so the jump in where they were like, three years ago versus today must be so much bigger.

I know! Most boring, flatest drive every. So dry, so very dry. So boring! That's why I'm offering my house as a nice place to take a rest. It's right inbetween Austin and LA. I'll just stay at a hotel (maybe, ha ha).
My house. I'm offering it up to the boys, Mr. Mr. Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, when they need a place to stay when they're passing through the Phoenix, Arizona area! Rent free, just don't trash the place.
Tell you what, if there is any chance the boys would actully want to stay at my nice home while they are in the Phoenix area, I'll let you know so you can swing on by.
No, I'm saying my house is more conveniently located between Texas and California. And my whole point was next time the boys are driving that far a distance, they can rest at my house. Or if they want a free place to stay when they are in the Phoenix area my place is open. Free food, free board, free tv.
